My nation custom

Custom is like a value moral that every country has it.  Every country has a different custom in their tradition. For example, in Holland if you visit to neighbour, you always bring a red rose because it is like a symbol of a prosperous.  Indonesia has a unique custom in every town especially in village in Indonesia.  I want to introduce my village custom is selametan.  Selametan means thank to God to what some people has a special present. For example, if person has a new house, he or she makes selametan in his or her new house because Indonesian people believe notion ancient.

The notion ancient that I mean selametan can bring a new happiness for the own selametan. It is mean selametan has a function like an act for thankfully to God. Selametan usually invite the entire neighbour.  Selametan usually together with pray together.  Selametan has a moral value like a togetherness to neighbour.  Selametan have been in Indonesia culture since Islam religion comes to Indonesia. Selametan has a lot function to connector a neighbourhood.

Selametan is usually do when the person who have a selametan.  Selametan likes a culture that still lingers in Indonesian people.  Selametan not always waste money but selametan is a give a people a little for their happy.  Selametan learn about togetherness and a brotherhood.  So, foreign country can absorb the Indonesian custom like selametan to make their citizen have a more brotherness in their life.
